What is Lytom?
Lytom has two tools. Lytom Assess is risk assessment software for independent H&S consultants. Lytom Comply is safety management software for businesses. Each works without the other. When both are in use, they share the same records automatically.
What is the difference between Lytom Assess and Lytom Comply?
Lytom Assess is the consultant app. Health and safety consultants use it on site to run risk assessments and issue branded PDF reports. Lytom Comply is the portal those clients log in to. Clients track PPM schedules, fire doors, incidents, permits, water logs, custom registers and their own workplace risk assessments (manual build, AI draft, or templates). Assessments and actions raised in Lytom Assess appear in the client's Lytom Comply portal automatically.
Do I have to use both Lytom Assess and Lytom Comply?
No. The two are separate products. Consultants can use Lytom Assess on its own. Businesses can use Lytom Comply on its own. When a consultant using Lytom Assess serves a client using Lytom Comply, the two automatically share records so nothing gets retyped.
Can I use Lytom outside the UK?
Yes. Lytom is used internationally. Built-in templates and examples often reflect UK health and safety practice, but you can customise assessment structures, report wording, registers and legislation references for any country. Your branding, methodology and local requirements stay under your control.
Is Lytom secure?
Yes. Lytom is GDPR compliant. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each company's data is fully isolated. Access is controlled by individual login, with no shared accounts. See the privacy policy for full detail.
How do I sign in?
Consultants sign in to Lytom Assess at lytom.app/app. Clients sign in to Lytom Comply at lytom.app/portal. Both run as web apps in any modern browser. Lytom Assess is also available as a native iOS app on the App Store.
