When you need both
The consultant visit produces the written assessment and the action list. The hotel, care home or office block still needs weekly flushing and monthly temperatures logged by staff who were not in the room when the assessor visited. Comply is where that evidence is stored. Assess is where the assessor's version of the story is written and handed over.
